Thursday Club Pool was the winner this week with only 2 players in the money.  Well done to Bill swan and Terry Bates.  Also, the ninth hole pin shot did not go off.  That’s a good donation to our club championship prizes and celebration in November.  A good field of 31 this week despite the threatening weather and a bit of rain in the middle of the day.  Welcome to a new Thursday Clubber, Mason McGlone.  He is obviously a good, fit making sure he got his card in despite being disrupted by the storm.  He was keen for that 1/3 of a shot on his handicap.  Special mention goes to Tony Edwards – “The Assassin” who won the putts on 10.  He had 8 putts until the 9^th hole, bugger. Don’t forget to book your clinic participation by return email, we will start planning times that suit after the end of August.  Can’t include you if you don’t tell me.  I will miss next week with work commitments but Capt. Ken Ret. has kindly offered to step into the fold for a back 9 Stab.
